Dates of language tests

Every first-year student who has a programme of studying a modern language (language course) and who has confirmed their will to study at UPJPII by submitting the required documents, is obliged to take tests to qualify them for the appropriate language groups.

Therefore, he/she should take language tests, which will be available from 07.08 (from 8.00 a.m.) to 28.09 (until 11.59 p.m.). For those who confirm their willingness to study after the second round of recruitment, tests will be available from 30.09 to 16.10.

Logging in to the tests

Tests are available at: tp.upjp2.edu.pl. The login and password are the same as for IRK. For technical reasons, access to the level tests can only be activated on the next working day after the status is changed to "accepted" in IRK.

Choice of language(s)

The selection of a language (or two languages - some courses or specialisations) - is ordered in the table.

It is obligatory to choose the language(s) in accordance with the table. The table of language selection takes into account the specifics of each course and is in accordance with the study programme. Please note that some courses have two languages to be studied. In this case, a test is taken in the second language or you can choose to study it from scratch.

Of the languages offered by the university: English, German and French (Russian in selected subjects according to the table) are taught as a continuation from secondary school, while Italian, Spanish, Russian, French and German are also taught in beginners' groups. It is not possible to form beginner groups in English.

The language test consists of 100 or 60 questions. Please complete the test honestly and in person, without marking random answers, in order to be placed in a group appropriate to your actual language level.

Assignment to a study group

The student's assignment to a particular language group will be visible after logging in to the USOSWeb system on 02.10 after 09:00 at the earliest. The student is required to check the dates and location of classes there.

Those who take the test on the second date (30.09.23-16.10.23) will be successively added to the previously created groups in the USOSWeb system. If you do not find yourself in any group after 16.10 (Monday - after 18.00), please report this to the MSJO Secretariat.
