The document on the basis of which you are applying for admission should state that it entitles you to continue higher education at the appropriate level in the country in which it was issued.

If the certificate or diploma does not have such a statement, an additional document confirming that the certificate or diploma entitles to continue education in its country of origin must be obtained. Depending on the country in question, this endorsement may be obtained, for example, from:

• the school or educational institution that issued the document;
• educational authorities of the country in which education system the document was issued
• a consul of the Republic of Poland residing in the country in which education system the document was issued
• a diplomatic representative or consular office accredited on the territory of the Republic of Poland in the country in which education system the document was issued
• Recognition statement from NAWA (the title on the certificate must match the name on the document giving access/continuation of education on the specified diploma)
