FAQ

UNIVERSITY RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1) What were the thresholds last year?

Each year, the list of those qualified for admission is created on the basis of the recruitment results obtained by the candidates within the specified admission limits.

2) What documents do I have to submit if I am qualified for admission?

The list of required documents is located next to the description of each course.

3) When and where should I submit the documents?

Documents should be submitted only in case of being qualified for admission to the studies within the deadlines specified in the recruitment schedule, in the secretary's office handling the chosen major.

4) What will the document submission process look like this year?

Due to the still ongoing state of the university's operational restrictions, documents might be submitted:

  • in person;
  • by e-mail (only for studies in English).

5) In my chosen major the documents are submitted personally. Can someone else submit the documents for me?

Yes. A candidate qualified for admission may act through his/her proxy, provided that he/she has been granted an appropriate power of attorney. You can download a sample power of attorney HERE.

6) What documents are required?

The list of all required documents can be found HERE.

IRK SYSTEM

1) I have created an account in the IRK system, but I have not received a return e-mail message. What should I do?

In case there is no return e-mail message on the e-mail account given during registration, you should check whether the message has not been transferred to the folder with unwanted electronic messages (SPAM). If there is no message in the SPAM folder, check if the e-mail address was not provided incorrectly during account creation. Please report the situation immediately.

2) I do not know my final results yet. Can I make an electronic registration now?

Yes, in the "Education" section click on "add document" and provide required information (indicate the current year as the year the document was issued). Then click on "edit exam results" and fill in the required fields. After receiving the results, you should immediately enter them into the system, because they are the basis for determining the enrollment result!

3) When do I have to upload my photo to the system?

You cannot download the enrolment form, which is one of the documents you have to submit to the Registrar's Office, from the system without an approved photo. Remember that your photo will be used to prepare an electronic student ID card, so it has to meet certain requirements (like an ID card).

4) My documents are still "pending".

Kindly note that the verification status will change from "pending" to "accepted" after the online recruitment and the Recruitment Committee meeting. Acceptance or rejection of documents is done by the Recruitment Committee. It means that you may finish your registration. You can complete your registration despite the 'pending' status. If you are unable to register, check that you have entered your examinations results.

RECRUITMENT FEE

1) How should I title the transfer?

The recruitment fee is paid to your individual account number, so the transfer does not have to be entitled in a specific way. It is best to include in the title the course for which the enrolment fee is paid. If you transfer the enrolment fee in a foreign currency to a general bank account number, do not forget to title the transfer in such a way that it can be identified who sent it, especially if you do not transfer from your bank account.

2) Refund of the enrolment fee

Information can be found HERE. The Fee Regulations (only in Polish) can be found HERE.
